Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Simulation / Firmware Engineer to join a 6-month contract. This role is fully remote, offering a competitive rate of £55-£65 per hour. Candidates should possess strong skills in developing firmware and simulation models for complex engineering systems, as well as proficiency in programming languages such as C or Python. Knowledge of multi-physics modelling is advantageous.

Overview

Contract Opportunity – 6 Months (Initial); £55-£65/hr OUTSIDE IR35; Fully Remote.

We are seeking an experienced Simulation / Firmware Engineer to join an exciting project on a 6-month initial contract. This role offers fully remote working and a competitive rate whilst supporting an engineering consultancy that operates on a global level and is at the forefront of engineering technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and test embedded firmware / simulation models for complex engineering systems
• Work with 1D system simulation models, integrating multi-physics components
• Analyse and improve system performance using advanced CAE and simulation tools
• Contribute to design documentation, code reviews, and validation/testing processes
