Fire Service Manager

£40,000–£50,000 per annum, depending on experience

Are you an experienced Fire Service professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service? This is a great opportunity to join a respected contractor specialising in fire, security, electrical, heating and plumbing services — taking ownership of the Fire Service division and leading a growing team of engineers.

You’ll be the key point of coordination across people, clients and operational delivery, ensuring compliance, safety and service standards are consistently achieved.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Leading, mentoring and developing a team of fire service engineers
  • Coordinating planned maintenance, reactive works and service schedules
  • Acting as the main contact for client relationships, managing communication and expectations
  • Ensuring all works meet relevant standards, regulations and Health & Safety requirements
  • Overseeing performance, productivity, documentation and reporting
  • Supporting wider operational teams and contributing to service improvement initiatives
  • Managing workloads, allocating jobs and resolving issues on site when required
  • Ensuring compliance with fire safety legislation and industry standards
What You Bring
  • Strong background in fire alarm servicing, maintenance or commissioning
  • Experience supervising or leading engineering teams
  • Solid understanding of fire alarm systems and compliance requirements
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Confidence dealing directly with clients and contractors
  • Ability to prioritise and coordinate multiple workloads
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Full UK driving licence
