V7 Recruitment were working with a leading Fire & Security specialist who are looking to bring an experienced Service Manager into their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven leader who thrives in a fast‑paced technical environment and wants to take ownership of service delivery across a high‑performing division.

The Role As the Fire & Security Service Manager, you’ll oversee a team of engineers delivering planned and reactive maintenance across Fire Alarm, CCTV, Intruder, Access Control and associated life‑safety systems. You’ll be the driving force behind service performance, customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of service engineers across Fire & Security disciplines
  • Manage day‑to‑day service operations, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standardOversee scheduling, workload planning and resource allocation
  • Act as the main point of contact for key clients, ensuring outstanding communication and service delivery
  • Monitor KPIs, service levels and compliance with industry standards
  • Support with technical queries, troubleshooting and escalation management
  • Drive continuous improvements across processes, performance and customer experience
  • Ensure all engineers maintain up‑to‑date training and certification
  • Work closely with senior leadership to develop service strategies and operational growth
About You
  • Background in Fire and / or Security engineering with solid technical understanding
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the industry
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a hands‑on, solutions‑focused approach
  • Ability to manage multiple workloads and lead teams in a fast‑moving environment
  • Confident dealing with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders
