Role overview

Safety systems maintenance engineer including reactive calls

Key tasks
  • Responsible for maintenance as per level 2 and phase 2 reactive calls to sites where customers have reported faulty systems (when senior staff are already on site).
  • Part of the Out of Hours (OOH) call out rota.
  • Carry enhanced van stock to achieve high first fix rate.
  • Manage van stock in line with level 1 and 2 requirements.
Service Delivery

Understand and deliver service excellence by ensuring the basics are done right every time and contributing to a team where service quality is central to performance.

Managing Risk
  • Be aware of operational and regulatory risks that may impact your work.
  • Report any risks that could affect the business to your line manager.
Managing Health & Safety
  • Conduct risk assessments and prepare method statements in accordance with H&S requirements.
  • Liaise with the Head of Compliance to ensure role-specific compliance is maintained within the framework.
Criteria

Essential: Good understanding of safety systems, knowledge of relevant British Standards, fault-finding skills, and rectification abilities.

Desirable: Additional training can be provided.
