Our Role: FinTech Innovation Project Manager
To lead and manage projects that support delivery of the FinTech Scotland Research & Innovation Roadmap, delivering value for stakeholders within the cluster including fintechs and strategic partners. To work closely with and advise fintech companies providing support and advice enabling their success.
This post is full‑time; we welcome applications from candidates seeking part‑time hours or flexible working patterns. We also support hybrid working on a non‑contractual basis, offering a blend of home and on‑site working to help you balance work and life effectively.
The salary for this post is £65,000 to £75,000 per annum.

FinTech Scotland is a cluster management organisation hosted by Edinburgh Innovations. FinTech Scotland has a mission of enabling the economic, societal and environmental benefits of FinTech innovation in Scotland. Delivery of this mission takes the form of initiating, convening, and driving collaborative innovation by leveraging contributions and support from industry, entrepreneurs, academia, regulators, and the public sector. The FinTech Research & Innovation Roadmap provides a framework for delivery of the mission and outlines a range of initiatives and actions aligned to four priority themes: Financial Regulation, Open Finance Data, Payments and Transactions, and Climate Finance. These priority themes are delivered via specific innovation programmes in partnership with academia and industry.
FinTech Scotland was established in January 2018 by its founding Strategic Partners, University of Edinburgh, Lloyds Banking Group, HSBC and Scottish Enterprise. Today, FinTech Scotland is supported by over 30 Strategic Partners including financial services organisations, professional services organisations, technology organisations, universities, the Scottish Government, Scottish Enterprise and the FCA. Since formation in 2018, FinTech Scotland has developed an innovative community of over 260 fintech firms, spanning the full spectrum of financial technologies from payments and distributed ledger technology to open banking, regtech and AI. In 2022, FinTech Scotland was awarded the European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis Silver Label, recognising it as a model for cluster management and excellence.
