Job description

We are currently recruiting for a FINPRO - Senior Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, a very highly regarded Lloyd's syndicate.

The successful candidate will actively manage a diverse portfolio of specialty claims focusing on Transactional Liability / M&A, W&I and Professional Indemnity Claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing claims on a proactive basis from notification to closure.
• Developing an understanding of marketing and underwriting strategies.
• Identifying claims trends and developments and communicating their potential impact on the book.
• Holding accountability for delegated relationships as needed, including appropriately managing escalation of items from delegated partners.
• Conducting file reviews or audits as required, and resolving any issues identified.

Key Requirements

• Strong analytical skills.
• Legal training or past claims experiences establishing liability and / or settlement resolutions would be preferred but not essential
• Experience of Professional Liability, Mergers and Acquisition and / or Warranties and Indemnities.
• Strong understanding of the claims management process.
