Job summary

A leading construction recruitment firm is looking for a Finishing Foreman in the Littlehampton/Bognor Regis area for a large residential development. The role involves supervising finishing trades, ensuring work is done to specification, and maintaining safety standards on-site. Ideal candidates will have relevant certifications and previous construction experience. This is a long-term position lasting until the end of 2025.

Qualifications

• Must have SMSTS, first aid training, and gold or black card.
• Previous experience on commercial or residential construction sites required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all finishing trades.
• Ensure all work meets quality specifications.
• Conduct inspections to identify defects.
• Coordinate workflow with site manager and foremen.

Job description

Job title: Finishing Foreman

Location: Littlehampton/ Bognor Regis area

Duration: Until the end of 2025

Finishing foreman working on a large scale residential development, reporting directly to the site manager.

The role:

• Supervise and manage all finishing trades (e.g., plastering, painting, tiling, joinery, flooring)
• Ensure all work is completed to the required quality and specification
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify any defects
• Coordinate with the site manager and other foremen to ensure a smooth workflow
• Maintain a safe working environment and enforce all health and safety regulations
• Keep detailed records of progress, materials, and labour

The project is a residential build and has a long duration.

About you:

• SMSTS, first aid, gold or black card
• Full PPE (personal protective equipment)
• Previous experience working on a construction site (Ideally commercial or residential)
