Job description

Our Finance Global Shared Service Centre based on the CSL Seqirus site in Liverpool (Speke) supports our 3 main businesses : CSL Behring CSL Seqirus and CSL Vifor globally and is expanding.

As part of this growth we are looking to hire a Financial Reporting Senior Manager to join the team. This is a new role resulting from CSLs new Operating Model and the establishment of a Global Accounting Operations Team.

Responsibilities

Responsible for completion of year end financial statement issued to local financial bodies

Prepare local accounting papers to support key accounting positions and judgements

Maintain and routinely update consolidated list of requirements in each country with respect to GAAP adjustments disclosure requirements and statutory deadlines

Coordination of global timetable for for all statutory account and audit activities within Global Account to Report

Manage the global relationships scope and timing of local external audits

Co-ordination of local internal control environment

Management of audit and financial stewardship for each of the groups subsidiary companies to ensuring the statutory deadlines are met and local statutory financial statements are completed with good quality

Track and analyse local external audit findings to ensure there are controls in place to prevent future findings and audit findings are resolved on a timely manner

Responsible and support business partners as the technical accounting expert and manage local accounting policies (including capital cloud computing lease and share based payments accounting)

Collaborate with affiliate controllers to assist them in execution of financial reporting responsibilities

Work with other Global Account to Report team leads to ensure sufficient priority and progress is being given to the outstanding items

Maintain and routinely update consolidated list of requirements in each country with respect to GAAP adjustments disclosure requirements and statutory deadlines

Lead project on improvements to the statutory account process including a standardised system solution to account templates.

Skills & Experience

Professional certification (ACA / ICAS)

5 Years financial reporting background ( 3 years audit experience)

Experienced in group component audit management

Minimum 3 years experience in a top-tier professional services firm (Big 4 or equivalent)

Global working environment experience

Ability to work in fast paced environment

The position also requires the ability to build and maintain sound relationships and collaborate effectively with multiple levels and cross functionally with Finance Business Partners and various Finance Centres of Excellence

The role is based in Speke Liverpool

Hybrid role : Office based 3-days a week
