Overview

Location: Gainsborough
Salary: A GBP 50,000 : A GBP 60,000 per annum + benefits
Vacancy Type: 9/12 Months, Fixed Term contract
Benjamin Edwards are working exclusively with an exciting business based in Gainsborough.

Responsibilities
  • The Financial Reporting Manager Will Assist with ensuring a strong financial control environment, while supporting the Management Team and PE investors by producing accurate, timely group financial information. Working closely with all members of the Finance Team to provide a link between the management accounts and financial reporting.
  • Strong focus on working capital for the group and short:term liquidity forecasting and reporting
  • Responsibility for the group balance sheets.
  • Ownership of intercompany balance reconciliation verification process, including loans, AR/AP Ledgers and sales/ purchases summary
  • Responsibility for group fixed asset registers, working with finance team to ensure Capex/ project reporting is accurate
  • Monthly oversight of balance sheet substantiation process, including challenge of existing processes and independent peer review of accounts periodically. Constant improvement of process and controls to ensure that reporting risks are mitigated
  • Oversee credit control process with the Finance Assistants
  • Support month end consolidation process and reporting
  • Budget preparation
  • Quarterly re:forecasting
  • Drive efficiencies within the Finance department and actively participate in any projects to develop the Finance function as a whole and provide a proactive effort to improve processes, resolve inefficiencies, administration, or document tasks.
  • Adhere to the Site Health and Safety policy along with all other policies in all work activities
  • Support future M and A / Disposal or Restructuring scenarios.
  • Support continual improvement of systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Perform other such duties of a similar nature, as from time to time may be required including any other duty reasonable in corresponding with the role.
