Due to continued growth, our client-a respected independent accountancy and business advisory firm operating across the North of England and Scotland-is seeking a Financial Planning Consultant to join its Financial Planning Team based in Glasgow.

What you'll do

  • Understand client objectives and deliver tailored financial planning solutions
  • Provide consistent, high-quality ongoing advice
  • Drive business development by identifying and converting new prospects
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge relevant to the role
  • Achieve individual revenue targets
  • Build and expand professional networks through events and engagement
What you'll need
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 6 desirable)
  • At least 2 years' advisory experience in the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of COBS, COCON, and FCA Money Laundering regulations (SYSC)
  • Basic awareness of related accountancy services (Audit, Tax, Insolvency, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities; able to work under pressure
  • Good general IT skills
  • High attention to detail, ensuring quality in all reporting
