Overview

Sheridan Maine is excited to be supporting a highly respected and growing business as they continue to scale. They are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Financial Controller to join the leadership team. This is a key role within the finance function, a mix of strategic partnership and hands-on delivery, and an exceptional opportunity for someone looking to progress toward Finance Director level.

Responsibilities

• Leading, mentoring and developing a small but capable finance team.
• Delivering timely and accurate management reporting and performance analysis.
• Overseeing financial controls, audit, tax and statutory reporting.
• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting cycle and providing strategic insight to the leadership team.
• Partnering with senior stakeholders across the business to inform commercial decisions.
• Driving process and systems improvements to enhance efficiency and control.
• Working alongside Treasury and other teams on cashflow management and funding requirements.
• Acting as a key deputy to the Finance Director, gaining exposure to investor relations and strategic projects.
