Group Financial Controller

Salary: up to £80k + car allowance

Based in Bristol

An experienced Financial Controller is required for a busy engineering company.

Responsibilities

The Financial Controller will be responsible for ensuring the company meets financial and legal obligations. They will create and maintain best practice reporting, procedures and policies, support the business with risk and compliance, act as the connection between the finance team, senior management and the CEO, helping to drive strategy and hit targets using financial insight, and oversee the financial team of four.

There are three companies within the group and travel will be required to the other sites, which are located across the country.

Qualifications

Must be fully qualified (CIMA / ACCA / AAT).

Experience within an engineering / manufacturing environment, ideally heavy engineering.

Strong collaboration and leadership skills with excellent customer management experience.

Previous experience in change management; any experience in the implementation of ERP / MRP systems would be beneficial.
