Job summary

A leading energy firm in Swindon is seeking a Finance Analyst to support the Finance Manager with financial reporting and commercial activities for offshore wind farms. The ideal candidate will prepare budgeting and forecasting reports, manage contracts, and support cash flow management. Familiarity with SAP and experience in the offshore wind industry are preferred. This position offers a full-time contract inside IR35.

Finance Analyst

Location: Swindon, UK

Duration: 01/11/2025 to 31/10/2026

Rotations: Monday-Friday, 8 hours a day

IR35: Inside IR35

Description:

This role will support the Finance Manager in overseeing the financial and commercial activities of Gwynt y Môr Offshore Wind Farm Limited and Rhyl Flats Offshore Wind Farm, both located in North Wales.

This role will also support ADHOC projects in the wider business as required.

Financial Planning & Reporting Prepare external stakeholder reports, including budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and benchmarking. Support development of commercial analysis and monthly financial reporting. Produce accurate and timely month-end financial reports. Support on ADHOC requests Contracts & Claims Management Support in the assessment of commercial contracts Act as the key interface with RWE Insurance, managing all insurance claims on behalf of the Joint Venture. Liquidity & Cash Flow Management Support liquidity planning, including dividends and cash flow management
