Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and empathetic Specialist Financial Adviser to join our growing team at Apollo Private Wealth. In this niche role, you will provide expert financial planning and wealth management services to clients who have received compensation through personal injury or medical negligence claims. You’ll guide them in transforming complex settlements into long-term financial security and independence.

Role Responsibilities
  • Work closely with clients, and where relevant, their deputies, trustees, or solicitors, to create bespoke financial strategies that protect and grow compensation awards.
  • Develop tailored financial plans covering investments, trusts, pensions, protection, and cashflow modelling.
  • Ensure all advice is compliant, transparent, and aligned with each client’s goals and life circumstances.
  • Provide proactive support, regular reviews, and consistent communication to build trusted, long-term relationships.
  • Collaborate with paraplanners, operations, and compliance teams to deliver a smooth and efficient client experience.
  • Stay informed of legislative, tax, and FCA changes affecting settlement planning.
Role Requirements
  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (essential)
  • Level 6 / Chartered Financial Planner status (desirable)
  • Proven background as a Financial Adviser or Wealth Planner, ideally within personal injury, medical negligence, or court of protection work
  • Strong technical understanding of investment, protection, and trust-based solutions for complex settlements
  • Experience liaising with solicitors, trustees, and deputies
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with empathy for vulnerable clients
  • Deep understanding of wealth, investment, and estate planning strategies
