A leading financial services provider in Milton Keynes is seeking a Financial Accountant to support the delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. You will maintain the general ledger, support internal and external audits, and prepare financial analyses. The ideal candidate is a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with excellent attention to detail and strong stakeholder management skills. This position offers a competitive salary and a hybrid working model.
Salary: Up to £60,137 pa dependent on experience
Location: Milton Keynes
Hybrid Working: Our current hybrid working policy requires a minimum of 60% of working time to be based in the Milton Keynes office, however flexibility is expected to meet the needs of the business and the role.

We’re looking for a Financial Accountant to support the delivery of the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to our HQ Accounting team, internal reporting for management, assisting the operational management of all internal and external audit activity across multiple stakeholders throughout our business.
In this technical role you'll also be instrumental in the preparation of monthly analysis, the provision of internal audit support, performance and review of balance sheet reconciliations including follow‑up investigative activity and working closely with project teams.
Key contributor to the monthly submission of the financial package to the HQ Accounting team for VWFS entities, including the preparation of internal reporting schedules with comparisons to forecast and the timely resolution of reporting queries from the HQ Accounting Team.
You’re a fully qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with detailed technical accounting knowledge and understanding in particular, in banking and financial services.
You’ll be focused on detail, accuracy and data quality, but you’ll also be able to understand outputs in the context of other reporting and business knowledge.
Bonus: Discretionary 10% on‑target bonus (based on personal and group company performance).
Pension: Employer pension contribution of 9% (based on employee contribution of 3%). VWFS will pay 6% if employee chooses a 2% employee contribution.
