Job Title: Financial Accountant

Location: Milton Keynes (hybrid)

About the role

Join BSI’s Financial Accounting team and help deliver high-quality financial reporting across our international operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive Financial Accountant to gain exposure to a variety of areas including royalties, intercompany transactions, and general ledger activities during an exciting period of change and transformation at BSI.

Responsibilities

• Support Corporate, Knowledge Solutions, and the Middle East region
• Manage and reconcile royalty, intercompany and general ledger accounts
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual reports
• Contribute to process improvements and support ongoing change initiatives
• Collaborate with colleagues across finance and other business areas to ensure accuracy and compliance

To be successful in the role, you will have

• Strong UK accounting experience essential
• Part-qualified in ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Excellent Excel skills required, experience with systems such as SAP is preferred, and Blackline, Concur, or EPM is advantageous
• Able to work under pressure, take ownership, and work independently
• Collaborative and supportive team player with a vibrant personality, open to continuous improvement and sharing ideas
