A global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies is seeking an experienced accounting professional for a 6-month fixed term position in Holyhead, Wales. This role involves coordinating and supervising the maintenance of the general ledger, directing a team of accountants, and producing various financial statements. Candidates should possess a degree in accounting or finance, along with at least eight years of relevant experience and one year of supervisory experience. Strong leadership and attention to detail are essential for this role.
6-month Fixed Term contract
Responsible for coordinating and supervising the maintenance of the general ledger and for the production of various resultant financial statements. Normally directs a group or section of general accountants. May participate in the most complex general accounting projects.
Degree in accounting or finance and eight or more years of significant work experience with at least one year of supervisory experience.
Monitored on end results. Errors may cause substantial expense and affect quality of financial statements and reports. Normally reports to the General Accounting Manager.
