Qualifications

Key Accountabilities
  • Manage the month end close process for your assigned business areas ensuring journals are completed in a technically accurate and timely manner and reconciliations are maintained to a high standard.
  • Lead inventory accounting as well as a number of additional areas across the business.
  • Manage and reconcile balance sheet accounts resolving reconciling items and delivering improvements to the auditability of the schedules.
  • Review contract documentation to ensure correct accounting treatment and prepare technical accounting papers.
  • Support the annual statutory and cost cap audits.
  • Collaborate to develop the Microsoft Dynamics (ERP) to maximise automation and support accurate financial accounting.
  • Contribute to ongoing finance transformation projects helping to build best in class finance systems and processes.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Accountant: ACA ACCA CIMA qualified with post qualified experience
  • Manufacturing Environment Experience: Experience with inventory accounting is required (ideally in a manufacturing environment).
  • Accounting Principles: Solid understanding required.
  • Process Improvement: Proven ability to manage and improve financial processes.
  • Skills: Problem-solving analytical mindset attention to detail strong communication skills robust Excel skills experience with PowerBI and D365 beneficial.
