The Financial Accountant will support the Head of Financial Accounting and Tax in delivering high-quality financial accounting services across Forestry England and the Forestry Commission. This role involves managing statutory financial reporting, maintaining robust financial controls, and providing expert guidance to finance teams and senior stakeholders.

You will be based at our National Office in Bristol. We aim to provide a great place to work and blended working forms part of our flexible and inclusive approach to future ways of working. This is an informal arrangement which gives you the option to work some of the week from home and some from the office, subject to role requirements, business needs and regular review.
Alongside your salary, Forestry England contributes an average of 28.97% towards your pension. You will become a member of the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension Scheme.
