My client is seeking an experienced Finance Transformation expert to join their dynamic team on a 6‑month contract in Harpenden, Hertfordshire.

Job details:

  • Location: Harpenden, Hertfordshire
  • Salary: £600‑£650 per day
  • Contract type: 6‑month temporary interim management (hybrid workplace)

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and guide the finance transformation programme, identifying areas for process improvements and driving change
  • Oversee all implementation matters and compliance, including responsibility of the budget
  • Streamline the R2R processes to enhance reporting
  • Create robust control processes to drive regulatory compliance and automate standardised processes to improve efficiencies
  • Act as trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and board‑level executives

The ideal candidate:

  • Proven experience spearheading finance transformations
  • Comfortable leading teams through change
  • Fully qualified accountant, ideally with PRINCE2 qualification (desirable)
  • Experience developing robust frameworks and governance
  • Ideally worked in large teams with a global presence
