Finance Officer - Charity

CV Screen is delighted to recruit for a Finance Officer to join a dynamic, community-focused cultural organisation based in Birkenhead. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day financial operations including payments, cashflow monitoring and liaising with suppliers.

  • Produce monthly management accounts, quarterly reports and year-end financial submissions.

  • Support budget holders through forecasting, variance analysis and financial modelling.

  • Maintain robust financial controls, policies and process documentation across all programmes.

  • Oversee financial reporting for grants and funding, acting as the key contact for finance queries.

What Experience Is Required
  • Proven background in finance with or working towards a recognised qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or similar).

  • Strong knowledge of financial processes, reporting standards and best practice.

  • Excellent communication, organisation and collaborative working skills.

  • Experience within the non-profit/charitable sector and a passion for music and the creative arts is desirable
Salary & Benefits
