Qualifications

  • AAT qualified (or working towards), or has equivalent experience.
  • Experienced in financial administration, reconciliations, budgeting and VAT.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with good communication and organisation skills.
  • Able to work accurately to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with cloud-based finance systems (e.g. Xledger, Sage, Xero).

Responsibilities

  • Processing sales and purchase invoices, supplier payments, and credit control.
  • Managing monthly bank reconciliations and credit card transactions.
  • Administering payroll and pensions (using BrightPay).
  • Assisting with VAT returns, monthly management accounts, and year-end audits.
  • Supporting budget preparation, forecasting, and grant tracking.
  • Providing financial guidance to budget holders and project officers.

Finance Officer

As Finance Officer, you'll be the main point of contact for day-to-day financial operations. You'll ensure timely and accurate financial processing, reporting, and compliance, helping the organisation make informed decisions that drive impact.

Responsibilities
  • Processing sales and purchase invoices, supplier payments, and credit control
  • Managing monthly bank reconciliations and credit card transactions
