An educational academy is seeking an enthusiastic Finance Officer to join their operations team in Bury St Edmunds. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Academy’s financial operations, ensuring robust processes and effective resource use. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills and a commitment to accuracy. The role offers a salary range of £28,183-£31,634 and includes generous benefits such as a local government pension scheme and extensive professional development opportunities.
Salary: SET Grade 7 SCP 24-28 £30,024-£33,700 FTE
Actual Salary: £28,183-£31,634
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, term time only plus 4 weeks
Contract Type: Temporary with a view of permanent for the suitable candidate

You’ll play a key role in supporting the Academy’s financial operations, ensuring robust financial processes and effective use of resources. This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the Academy.
