Job description

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on finance professional who will play a key role in The Horton’s financial health and future resilience.

The Horton is a registered charity and an award-winning independent cultural venue in Epsom, Surrey hosting live performance, creative arts and events in stunning listed building and gardens.

As the sole end-to-end finance position, the Finance Manager is a rewarding and varied role.You will beresponsible for the effective and efficient management of all financial operations for both the registered charity and its trading subsidiary.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in charity finance and the ambition to grow into a strategic financial leader.

Candidiates should be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / AAT) or qualified by experience, with at least 5 years’ experience in similar finance roles.

Demonstrable experience of financial management in the UK charity / nonprofit sector is desirable.
