Job summary

A fast-growing FMCG business is looking for a Finance Manager based in Manchester. The role involves managing financial processes, preparing reports for the LATAM region, and working closely with various operational teams. Candidates should have at least 5 years of finance management experience, be fluent in Spanish, and possess an ACCA or ACA qualification. Enhancing international financial operations is a key aspect of this position.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance management.
  • Background in FMCG or manufacturing industries.
  • Proven track record working in an international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Head of Finance, based in the UK.
  • Prepare and deliver consolidated month-end accounts for the LATAM region.
  • Oversee statutory accounts, local audits, and tax filings.
  • Review and approve monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage intercompany accounting processes and reconciliations.
  • Drive all FP&A activities for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Act as Finance Business Partner to various teams.
  • Undertake ad-hoc financial projects and analysis.
  • Travel to LATAM countries to support operations.

Job description

Our client is a fast-growing FMCG business specializing in sustainable food production. They are currently looking to hire a Finance Manager, based out of their Manchester office (or London if preferred).

  • Report directly to the Head of Finance, based in the UK.
  • Prepare and deliver consolidated month-end accounts for the LATAM region.
  • Oversee statutory accounts, local audits, and tax filings to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Review and approve monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage intercompany accounting processes and reconciliations.
  • Drive all FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) activities for the region, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
  • Act as Finance Business Partner to logistics, procurement, production, and supply chain teams, providing financial insight and strategic support.
  • Undertake ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as required.
  • Travel to LATAM countries as necessary to support local operations and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • ACCA or ACA qualified accountant.
  • Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance management.
  • Background in FMCG or manufacturing industries.
  • Strong costing and product margin analysis experience.

Proven track record working in an international environment.
