Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in finance management.
• Hands-on approach to finance operations.
• Experience in a start-up or engineering environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance operations and internal controls.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and handlestatutory compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to provide financial insights.

Skills

Full accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

Strong technical accounting knowledge (UK GAAP)

Experience preparing monthly management accounts

Confidence managing day‑to‑day finance operations

Experience supporting tax compliance

Proficiency in cloud accounting (Xero preferred)

Strong Excel capability

Ability to communicate with stakeholders
