Finance Manager

SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a dynamic business in Worcester area who are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager on a permanent basis.

A well established business within an exciting sector, this role is new due to growth of the business both in the UK and internationally, one where you will join a business on the next stage of their steep growth trajectory.

We are seeking a qualified or qualified by experience accountant with strong people skills and people management experience. This role will supervise a team of 8, reporting to the FD.

Working alongside the global finance manager, this role will take responsibility for financial operations of the UK and EU.

Main duties
  • Preparation and consolidation of monthly management accounts
  • Review of individual company management accounts
  • Assist the FD with monthly and annual financial reporting requirements
  • Review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis
  • Supervision of VAT and overseas sales tax returns
  • Full involvement in the improvement of internal processes and efficiencies
Extra requirements
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to build and maintain effective relationships with non-finance stakeholders
  • Experience of managing and developing finance teams
  • Strong Excel spreadsheet skills and good working knowledge of accounting software
