A financial services company in London seeks a Finance Professional responsible for managing monthly financial accounting, preparing reports, and leading audits. The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with at least 3 years of finance experience. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software is essential for success in a fast-paced environment.
To ensure that the Finance tasks, detailed below, are completed to a high standard
To work closely with the Financial Controller and Finance Director in establishing a best in class finance function
Key responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for monthly financial accounting
Preparing month end pack which includes:
Leading year end audit process
Regulatory reporting including PSD and MLAR returns
Production of daily bank covenant reporting
Managing day to day treasury operations
Preparation and submission of tax returns
Ad-hoc project work to support business strategy
Supervision of Accounts Assistant
Experience and qualifications:
An ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified accountant, or newly qualified.
Financial Services experience (particularly lending company experience) desirable
Minimum 3 years previous experience in a finance role
Proficiency in MS Excel
Knowledge of an accounting software package
Technically proficient
High attention to detail
Numerical
Adaptable (able to converse with different levels of the business)
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
