Job description

KennedyPearce are hiring a Finance Manager for a global multi site company based in London. Offering hybrid working this team are going through a period of expansion. This role will manage a team of 4 and will report into the Senior Finance Manger.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and performing timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Performing a key role in the external audit of two legal entities, and ensuring compliance with current accounting standards and regulations
  • Business partnering with departments including Legal, IT, Operations, Marketing, HR and Customer Experience
  • Management of the month end close process, including the preparation of the monthly cashflow statement, and reporting results into Group
  • Ownership of key elements of the annual budgeting process
  • Maintenance of a robust balance sheet
  • Regular cost analysis across the business and across a wide range of activities and areas, highlighting risks and opportunities and making recommendations to senior management
  • Maintaining a sound internal control environment, identifying and communicating any risks on a timely basis
  • Providing technical financial support
  • Supporting the business on ad hoc queries and projects

The ideal candidate:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) with at least 1 to 3 years post qualification experience
  • Experience in external audit, with technical and statutory accounting expertise
  • Experience of managing and developing a team, and reviewing their work (In audit)

£80000 - £100000 per annum + Pension, Hybrid working
