Overview

Pure are delighted to be partnering with the University of Cambridge to recruit a Finance Coordinator role. This role is backfilling someone who is moving onto their multi-year finance transformation project. This role is for a 2 year fixed term period within the School of Humanities and Social Science, based on Mill Lane in Central Cambridge.

The purpose of the role will be to co-ordinate Finance administration services, to contribute to the management of Departmental/Unit finances.

Responsibilities
  • Reconciliations
  • Reporting activities and month end accounts preparation
  • Invoice processing and payments
  • Payroll duties
  • Advising budget holders and Heads of Departments
  • Contributing to the review of processes and procedures
  • General accounts administration
Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will have experience within a relevant accounts role, knowledge of reporting tools, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • You will also have strong knowledge of accounting systems, and be proficient in your use of Microsoft Excel.
