Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Senior Finance Business Partner to join a high-profile finance team within a complex, fast-moving organisation. This is a key strategic role, supporting both capital projects and operational programmes while partnering closely with senior leaders to drive performance, strengthen financial governance and support strategic decision‑making.

As a senior member of the finance function, you will lead the delivery of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, monthly performance reporting, and insightful financial analysis across major programmes. You will work closely with project teams, operational leads and finance colleagues to provide clear challenge, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure financial performance remains firmly aligned to business objectives. You will also play a central role in improving processes, enhancing reporting quality, and driving best-in‑class financial planning standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Owning high-quality delivery of budgets, forecasts and monthly reporting
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide insight, challenge and commercial decision support
• Supporting capex planning through robust project cost reporting and financial modelling
• Identifying and leading process improvements across reporting, planning and analysis
• Providing clear narrative on financial performance, highlighting risks and opportunities
• Ensuring strong financial governance and alignment across business units

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with 5+ years post-qualification experience
• Strong FP&A, management accounting and business partnering background
• Experience in capex, investment appraisal or project-based financial analysis
• Ability to operate within a matrixed, dynamic environment and influence senior leaders
• Excellent analytical skills, commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP beneficial
• Confident communicator with strong relationship‑building skills
