Finance Business Partner

Location: Perth (Hybrid Working Available) Salary: Competitive + Benefits Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you a qualified finance professional with a strong background in statutory accounting, taxation, and treasury? We’re recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to lead and manage statutory reporting and compliance activities, ensuring alignment with IFRS, UK legislation, and internal group policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit statutory accounts under IFRS & FRS101.
  • Coordinate corporation tax packs and liaise with external advisors for CT600 filings.
  • Lead the external audit process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Manage VAT returns, payroll-related filings (Class 1A NI, PSA), and HMRC correspondence.
  • Support monthly management accounts including journal preparation, tax estimates, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Deliver internal control processes aligned with group frameworks.
  • Oversee insurance renewals and claims in collaboration with external brokers.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and training to the finance team.
  • Deputize for the Head of Finance when required.
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE with strong statutory experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in practice or industry (SME or global company).
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, UK tax rules, and statutory reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement.
