A charitable organization is seeking a Finance Business Partner to provide support and develop financial plans within the Adult Volunteering area. The role involves business analysis and partnering with senior management to influence strategic decision-making. Candidates should be fully qualified accountants with a strong background in finance business partner roles and experience in complex organizations. This position allows for some flexibility and TOIL arrangements.
The Finance Business Partner in Volunteering is responsible for providing the first line of support and assistance with the development of financial plans, analysis of the financial performance and forecasts of the Adult Volunteering area, to provide high quality business insight to support and influence strategic decision making by St John's management teams. They will be a key member of the Financial Planning and Insight team to ensure delivery of the annual three-year budgeting process aligned to strategic operational plans. This role requires regularly meeting with relevant stakeholders to critically review and challenge reported performance against agreed plans. This role will support the Adult Volunteering part of the organisation and some other overheads/areas within the organisation.

The successful candidate will need to be willing and able to attend occasional meetings in the evenings, via Teams. TOIL and flexible working arrangements facilitate this.
