Overview

Are you looking to develop your finance career in a supportive and friendly team? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful, growing business as a Finance Assistant, where you’ll gain broad exposure across sales and purchase ledger, reconciliations, and expense processing.

You’ll be working in a busy but supportive environment, with clear deadlines to meet and plenty of opportunities to get involved in wider finance tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately processing sales and purchase invoices
  • Generating sales invoices daily and resolving queries with regional offices
  • Preparing supplier payments and reconciling supplier statements
  • Processing staff expense claims and supporting with customs entries
  • Assisting the Financial Accounts team with reconciliations and month-end deadlines
  • Communicating with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
  • Deputising for the Invoicing Team Manager where needed
Qualifications
  • AAT-qualified (or equivalent) – or studying towards it
  • Previous experience in sales and purchase ledger
  • Strong Excel and IT skills
  • Excellent numeracy, attention to detail, and a problem-solving approach
  • Confident communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
