Job summary

A recruitment agency is looking for a Finance Assistant in Sale with a competitive salary of around £25,000 depending on experience. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and Supervise, receiving training in all account functions. Key responsibilities include processing invoices, monitoring credit control, and providing administrative support for the Finance Team. Job description
Finance Assistant Sale c£25,000 doe

Working and training directly under the Finance Manager and Supervisor who shall mentor you in all account functions, including Credit Control, Purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate shall be willing to learn, either wanting a stable career forever in accounts, or has some exposure to accounts and wants to gain a further two years' experience before moving on. Your responsibilities as a Finance Assistant
  • Code and process sales invoices and process customer payments on the system.
  • Process purchase invoices, through to supplier queries, reconciliation and payment runs.
  • Assist in completing month end procedures and monitoring credit control.
  • Provide an all‑round administrative support to the wider Finance Team when required.
Desirables
  • A passion to pursue a career in accounts OR already have experience working in a busy accounts department, as a Finance Assistant or in a similar capacity.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
