  • Ensure compliance with control and system procedures.
  • Count, record, and bank daily cash in accordance with audit requirements.
  • Evaluate revenue centres and prepare reports for the income journal.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly management reports.
  • Perform month-end closing in coordination with the Management Accountant.

Job description

Location: The Gantry London – Curio Collection by Hilton, De Coubertin Street, London (East), London, E20 1DB

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Audit and verify all revenue transactions for consistency according to hotel’s standards, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all control and system procedures, document processes, and identify errors for cash handling
  • Count, record, and bank daily cash in accordance with audit requirements at all times
  • Evaluate all revenue centres, prepare reports for the income journal daily, and evaluate and balance all rebates
  • Prepare and evaluate all reports daily and resolve any discrepancies
  • Maintain accuracy in all PMS reports, document income requirements for various projects, and ensure compliance with all regulations
  • Review the aged debtor ledger daily, actively chase past‑due debts, and mitigate account delinquencies
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly management reports in accordance with hotel policies and procedures
  • Perform month‑end closing in coordination with the Management Accountant
  • Manage communication with various departments and prepare everyday reports within required timeframes
What We Need From You
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping
  • Good organisational skills

  • Excellent time‑management skills
