We are seeking a highly organised and resourceful Finance Assistant to join the team of a leading specialist in Rail Engineering, working full-time in their Derby office. This role is crucial in supporting the daily financial operations, including bank reconciliation, sales ledger management, and preparing monthly payroll workings for blue‑collar staff. The ideal candidate will be proactive and capable of working on their own initiative, bringing at least two years of relevant experience.
Preferred but not essential criteria include knowledge of Sage 200, experience of mentoring and supervising junior staff, and experience of working across a group structure in a shared service environment.
