Finance Assistant - Immediate Start | Study Support | Career Progression

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Finance Assistant to join our growing team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is currently studying AAT and has 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. Responsibilities

• Assisting with day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable
• Maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions
• Updating and supporting financial databases and spreadsheets
• Assisting with budget preparation, monitoring, and expense tracking
• Supporting the preparation of financial reports, summaries, and statements
• Assisting in both internal and external audits
• Identifying and helping to resolve discrepancies
• Staying up to date with relevant financial legislation and best practice
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with regulatory standards
• Using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero

Qualifications

• 1-2 years\' experience in a finance assistant or similar role
• Currently studying AAT (any level)
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero essential)
• A strong eye for detail and excellent analytical and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is desirable, but not essential
