The Role

You will work closely with each member of our experienced finance team, learning core processes and providing essential support. Your initial focus will be on processing tasks within Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), alongside cash reconciliations. As your knowledge and training progress, you will take on more responsibility and sophisticated tasks, developing into a well-rounded finance professional.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the end-to-end processing of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Performing daily, weekly, and monthly cash and bank reconciliations.
  • Supporting month-end close procedures with accurate data entry and preliminary analysis.
  • Learning and utilising our finance software systems effectively.
  • Collaborating with various departments to resolve invoice queries and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Maintaining organised and up-to-date financial documentation.
  • Embracing new learning opportunities and taking on additional tasks as required by the Group Finance Director.
About you

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who meets the following criteria.

Essential Experience & Qualifications
  • You are currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Ideally, you are in your second year or further into your studies.
  • Ideally, you have a minimum of one year of prior work experience in a Finance or office administration role.

  • Ability to work in a timely manner and manage deadlines effectively.
