Overview

Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a motivated individual to join us as a Finance Apprentice within the Finance Department (Financial Management).

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside clerical workers, registered professionals, medical staff and external stakeholders.
  • Support the smooth running of the Trust.
  • Attend training sessions and study towards the apprenticeship.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, Finance colleagues, external contacts and healthcare professional colleagues.
  • Maintain a high standard of care, dignity, privacy, cultural and religious needs.
  • Everyone at BWC has a responsibility to ensure a high standard of care is delivered to our women, children and families.
Qualifications
  • Ambitious, brave, compassionate with a high level of commitment to the Apprenticeship programme.
  • Maths and English GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) required; non‑certified to complete.
  • Interest in progressing in a career within Financial Management or wider Finance/Accountancy.
