Job description

A large rapidly growing Service Company are looking to recruit a tenacious, driven Finance Analyst to work on a permanent basis from their head office in Preston, Lancashire. The role is within their Finance team and along with analytic knowledge you will also have experience with transactional Finance duties, potential leading to the more technical skill set of a Management Accountant.

• Analyse past results, perform variance analysis , identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
• Managing Sales and Purchase Ledgers
• Bank Reconciliations and balance sheets
• VAT and other finance duties

What do you need

• As a strong Finance Analyst / Account Assistant you will demonstrate the ability to build strong sustainable relationships quickly.
• Strong academic achiever.
• Possess strong analytical skills.
• Advanced user of MS Excel
• Strong numeric skills
