Overview

Are you ready to use your analytical skills to make a real impact? We're looking for a motivated Finance Analyst to join our client who is based in Edinburgh City Centre. Salary for this role is £45k and the client offers hybrid working (50% in the office). Ideally you will be a qualified accountant, but the client is open to someone currently studying or qualified by experience.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing month-end management reports, quarterly updates, and ad hoc analysis for partners, fee earners, and the finance team.
  • Creating and maintaining financial schedules, models, and reports that bring clarity to business performance.
  • Analysing financial performance across divisions, partner groups, locations, clients, and sectors.
  • Assisting with monthly payroll and supporting statutory and tax reporting (corporate tax, partnership tax, VAT).
  • Ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data, including rates, utilisation, realisation, budgets, and headcount.
  • Taking ownership of projects throughout the year and delivering impactful, insightful results.

  • Previous experience in a finance role - you'll already have a solid grounding in financial processes.
