A local government entity in Walsall seeks a Finance Administrator to support clients in Adult Social Care. The role involves maximizing benefits, reviewing finances, paying invoices, and liaising with service providers. We are looking for a Finance Administrator to join our friendly, supportive Client Welfare Services Team, supporting clients within the Adult Social Care directorate who are vulnerable or have reduced capacity and need help managing finances.
Excellent organisational and customer care skills with the ability to manage competing demands and workloads.
Good understanding of the welfare and benefits system (training will be provided).
Ability and willingness to communicate verbally with customers in accurate spoken English. This post is covered by the Government’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers.
