Finance Admin Assistant - Grappenhall Heys Community Primary School
The role

Grappenhall Heys is an outstanding and popular Community Primary School, situated in South Warrington. We have wonderful well-motivated pupils, an enthusiastic and committed staff and Governing Body, inspirational senior leaders, supportive parents and strong links with the community.

Our Governors wish to appoint a committed, highly motivated, dedicated and caring Finance Admin Assistant to join our wonderful team.

The school is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Finance Admin Assistant, working as part of a team in our main office and working closely with the Headteacher, School Business Manager and wider school staff.

  • can work with the SLT, teachers, admin staff and other support staff

  • have an understanding of financial administration duties and responsibilities under the direction of the School Business Manager
  • have an ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with the pupils, parents and staff
  • are able to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • are able to work in a very busy working environment
  • conform to school policies and procedures – safeguarding, welfare, health and safety and data protection
  • undergo any training required in order to perform relevant duties efficiently
  • can display flexibility to meet urgent work needs as they arise
  • can undertake any other duties commensurate with the responsibilities, skills and qualification of the post holder.
