Superheat FGH is currently recruiting Heat Treatment Field Technicians in North East England, North Central England and South East England.

Technicians are responsible for the equipment setup, network setup and equipment maintenance for the assigned project. Equipment setup includes transportation, spotting equipment and applying equipment as per wrapping specifications and drawings, as well as providing troubleshooting support as required.

Working Environment will be Power generation as well as oil and gas sector.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day to day Pre & Post Weld Heat Treatment Tasks.
  • Complete daily equipment maintenance and inspection checks as directed.
  • Plan and prepare equipment for installation and upcoming tasks.
  • Arrive to site prepared with required Personal Protective Equipment and required tools.
  • Follow Wrapping Specifications as trained and directed.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices at jobsite.
  • Work safely at all times, consciously and with the environment and all peoples in mind.
  • Workshop assistance including but not limited to: maintain storage areas and cleaning equipment, minor maintenance and repairs, testing and upgrades to equipment.
  • Label cables and equipment.
  • Working at height and in confined spaces may be required.

Qualifications

  • CCNSG (Training may be given).
  • Electrical or mechanical aptitude (A benefit but not required).
  • Prior experience in a labour focused position is considered an asset.
  • Current safety certifications are considered an asset.
  • On Site Training will be given.
  • Fully comply with any Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements imposed by the Company or our Customer.
  • Flexible, pro-active and self-motivated approach to work.
  • Valid UK Driver’s License.
  • Able to travel extensively within in the UK, with the possibly overseas work.
  • Able to work variable shifts and hours this could include Night Shift.
  • Excellent communication and liaison skills.
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the position.
