Position Overview

Location: Akron-Cleveland OH area. We are looking for a motivated Survey Trail Chief to lead field operations for residential and commercial land development, stream and environmental restoration, and utility projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Problem solving and independent decision mwan based on sound surveying judgment.
• Apply current surveying technologies, including conventional instruments and GNSS equipment.
• Provide guidance to junior‑level staff on objectives, critical issues, and concepts.
• Interact with internal staff and customers as needed on project‑related issues.
• Operate and maintain company‑provided survey vehicle.
• Supervise junior level surveyors, interns, or technicians.

Required Skills

• Client‑focused and team oriented.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Good time‑management skills and ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Valid الدهون license and good driving record.

Education & Experience

• High school or equivalent minimum.
• 8–10ittarius full‑time crew chief experience.

Travel

Minimal to no overnight travel.

Work Environment / Hours

Full‑time field position requiring work under varied weather conditions. Minimum expectation of 40 hours per week; hours may be flexible and overtime may be needed based on workload.
