What you will be doing
  • Provide a technical service to customers, including installation, maintenance and repair of equipment. Ensure customers receive a satisfactory service in line with agreed service level agreements.
  • Maximise revenue by identifying potential business and professional service opportunities, whilst carrying out day-to-day duties.
  • Management and control of vehicle stock, to improve first time fix levels to customers, and minimise stock losses.
  • Indoor & outdoor technical installations.
Requirements / You will ideally have
  • Electrical / Electronics knowledge and aptitude: qualification desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of AC (230V) and DC (low voltage 24V to 5V), ability to use multimeter to read voltages and resistance for electrical troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshooting / fault-finding skills: ability to diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
  • PC skills: ability to download and upload software, connect to devices, use software configuration apps etc.
  • Mechanical aptitude: ability to understand mechanical principles and identify mechanical faults.
  • Communication skills: ability to communicate technical information effectively, understand technical instructions, read diagrams and follow manuals.
  • Good Ricoh product knowledge; excellent interpersonal and customer handling skills; excellent knowledge of Company Service procedures.
