Job description

Field Service Manager (Electrical) - EV Charging -Remote (UK) - Competitive Salary/ Car / Car allowance + Future share scheme

We are recruiting for a Field Service Operations Manager (Electrical) to join a growing, specialist EV charging business at an early stage.

This is a senior operational role for someone with strong hands‑on electrical experience and solid EV charging maintenance background. You’ll lead day‑to‑day delivery, manage subcontractors and field teams, and help build the operational processes that allow the business to scale.

The role is predominantly remote and desk‑based, but requires travel and occasional hands‑on site support when needed.

The role
  • Lead EV charging maintenance operations and site assessments
  • Plan and coordinate subcontractors and field engineers
  • Act as technical escalation for complex faults and recurring issues
  • Support install and remedial works where required
  • Build scalable processes, standards, reporting and KPIs
  • Ensure full compliance with BS7671 (18th Edition) and strong H&S standards
  • Work closely with leadership to improve delivery and customer outcomes
What we’re looking for
Experience
  • Strong electrical background with significant time on the tools
  • EV charging maintenance experience (essential)
  • EV charging installation, fault‑finding and remedials experience
  • Comfortable leading teams and managing subcontractors
  • Happy working remotely with site involvement when required
Qualifications
  • 18th Edition (BS7671)
  • Inspection & Testing – C&G 2391 or equivalent
  • SMSTS + site management qualification
  • CSCS Gold Card
