The Opportunity

We are recruiting a Field Service Engineer – Garage Equipment to join their growing team. Working from home, you will cover the North West, Lancashire, Yorkshire and North Wales, supporting customers with the installation, servicing, and repair of specialist garage equipment.

The Role – Field Service Engineer – Garage Equipment

As a Field Service Engineer – Garage Equipment, you will:

  • Service, repair, and calibrate tyre changers, wheel balancers, and lifting equipment.

  • Diagnose and resolve faults on customer sites, ensuring minimal downtime.

  • Carry out both preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown response.

  • Work across pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

  • Complete job reporting via a tablet-based system and liaise closely with the operations team.

  • Deliver a professional service and act as the technical representative of the business.

What We’re Looking For

  • A proven background in mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic engineering.

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

  • Previous experience with garage equipment is desirable but not essential – full training provided.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build customer trust.
