Qualifications

  • Previous work experience servicing Fire, Security or access entry and alarm systems.
  • Valid full driving license.
  • Previous Honeywell product knowledge such as GENT would be advantageous.

Job description

As a Field Service Engineer – Fire at Honeywell, in South Yorkshire, you will be responsible for performing and providing counsel on expert emergency, maintenance, testing of fire and life safety systems. perform pre planned maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to equipment and systems, along with commissioning of small works. This is a field-based role with the requirement of an on-call rota of one week in six.

Responsibilities
  • Day to day servicing, calibrations and maintenance; including diagnoses and repairs faults on a variety of Honeywell and 3rd party equipment
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements and provide prices for Small Works Quotes
  • Prepare the drawings and application projects specifically for Small Works Quotes
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through direct liaison with client representatives, customers and service recipients whilst delivering a valuable and professional service
  • Report possible future failures, disturbances and other opportunities for improvement
Qualifications
  • Previous work experience servicing, Fire, Security or access entry and alarm systems
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting skills along with programming skills
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build relationships with customers through the use of good communication skills.
  • Previous Honeywell product knowledge such as GENT would be advantageous
  • Valid full driving licence
